Where the project started and what shaped it

Karnesav started in 2017 with a straightforward observation: most information security training was either too abstract for everyday use or too technical for people outside IT. There was a gap between what security professionals explained and what regular employees or small business owners actually needed to know.

The webinar format made sense because it removed travel, fixed schedules, and the cost of in-person events. Participants join from home, interact live with the instructor, and revisit recorded sessions afterward.

What makes a Karnesav session different

Each session is structured around problems participants actually face — phishing attempts, weak password habits, unsafe file sharing — not theoretical frameworks.
